Ohme ePod
Compact smart charging with a socket for your separate cable.
Based in Leicester. Here to help you charge at home.
Made for your
everyday charging.
Ohme ePod pairs smart charging with a compact socketed unit. Bring a suitable separate cable, plug in and manage your charging in the Ohme app.
Choose your own cable
Unlike the tethered Home Pro, ePod has a socket rather than an attached cable. A separate cable lets you choose the length for your parking space, but you will need somewhere to store it between charges. Confirm the vehicle connector and cable with your quote.
App control, with buttons outside
Set up charging in the Ohme app, with physical buttons on the charger for local control. ePod has no Home Pro-style screen. Its multi-network 4G connection supports smart charging without relying on your home Wi-Fi.
Check the tariff and your home
Ohme supports smart-tariff charging, solar integration and home power balancing. We will discuss your electricity tariff, vehicle and installation so you can understand which features suit your setup. Charging power also depends on the car and available supply.

Good to know
A little clarity
before you begin.
Is a charging cable permanently attached?
No. ePod is socketed and needs a separate charging cable. Ohme lists optional 5 m and 8 m cables; confirm your chosen cable and what is included in your quote.
How is ePod different from Home Pro?
ePod uses a separate cable and physical buttons, with detailed control in the app. Home Pro has an attached cable and a screen. Think about whether you prefer to put a cable away or keep one ready at the charger.
Can ePod charge a Type 1 car?
Ohme states that ePod supports Type 1 and Type 2 vehicles using the appropriate separate cable. Tell us your vehicle so we can confirm the correct connector arrangement.
Does ePod need Wi-Fi?
It uses a multi-network 4G SIM for connectivity. Mobile reception at the proposed charger position and the current connectivity terms should be checked before installation.
